How do I see a doctor at Boutique Medicine?
There are two ways to see a doctor :

You can see a doctor once for minor complaints like prescription renewals, urinary tract infections, or sick notes. If you choose this mode of consultation, note that there are specific medications, or diagnoses, or documents (ex : disability insurance) which require follow-ups to be prescribed, as written in the Quebec law. Consequently, the doctor will not be permitted to prescribe those medications or fill those specific documents. because you are not considered his full-time patient under the law.

On the other hand, you can decide to be followed year-round by one of our doctors. If you choose this yearly membership, you'll be matched with one of our family doctors within the same day. From then on, you can text, email or call your doctor directly. As a member, you'll be able to book online, by yourself, for virtual or in-person appointments.
You'll also be covered for virtual medicine when you're on a trip in the USA.
Can you see me in person, if my problem can't be solved virtually?
Yes, we are actually the only medical service in Canada currently offering both Online and in Person appointments with the same doctors. We're trying to take an old recipe that worked well, the village family doctor, and apply it to new technology.
Do you do any follow-ups, basically can I ever see my doctor again?
Our business model is mainly based on the fact that you will be matched to one family doctor, and you will have repeated, easy, fast access to that same doctor. No more repeating all your medical history at every appointment. Our doctor will know all your medical history by heart.
What is Boutique Medicine?
We're a hybrid clinic. We're trying to be the best of all worlds. Our doctors will see you virtually, but if your issue warrant's it, the same doctors will see you In-Person within a couple hours or days depending on the day of the week. However, please be aware that we do not treat any minor or major emergencies; for those you will have to go to the Hospital.
I'm not covered by any insurance, will you still see me?
Boutique Medicine is completely private. We are so private, that we cover our patients both in Canada and while they are in the USA (USA coverage is only by Telemedicine).
I have insurance coverage, do you accept it?
The patient must directly pay Boutique Medicine. We can provide you with an insurance receipt. However we do not interact directly with your insurance agencies.
